Ephesus is one of the most significant ancient cities in the world and a proud UNESCO World Heritage Site. It once served as the capital and commercial hub of Asia Minor during the Roman Empire. Ephesus was also the starting and ending point of the Royal Road—one of the three major ancient trade routes alongside the Silk and Spice Roads. While exploring the site, you’ll witness well-preserved Roman architecture including grand temples, the famous Celsus Library (the third-largest library of the ancient world), and public buildings that reveal the city’s former glory.

Located within the archaeological site of Ephesus, just across from the Temple of Hadrian, the Terrace Houses—also known as "the houses of the rich"—offer a unique glimpse into the daily life of wealthy Roman families. These multi-story homes are adorned with intricate mosaics, vibrant frescoes, and advanced architectural features, such as an underfloor heating system similar to Roman baths. They are a testament to the refined lifestyle and artistry of the Roman elite.

Sirince is a charming and picturesque village located just 15 minutes from Selçuk, in the lush hills surrounding Ephesus. Often described as one of the most beautiful villages in western Turkey, it is known for its traditional stone houses, scenic views, and welcoming locals. The village is famous for its homemade fruit wines—over 10 varieties are available for tasting—as well as its cozy wine cellars and family-run restaurants serving authentic local cuisine. The fresh mountain air and serene atmosphere also make Sirince a popular spot for those seeking relaxation and wellness.
